Ross Kratter is a highly experienced teacher of both string bass and electric bass. Lessons are custom-tailored to each student, but topics often include fundamental technique, sightreading, ear training, time, rhythm, walking bass lines, classical solo repertoire, and improvisation. Students are accepted at all levels.

Ross Kratter is a highly sought after composer and arranger on the New York scene. His specialty as an arranger is for big band, and he also composes and arranges for groups of all sizes. He is very passionate about spreading his knowledge of these topics.
